The Brady Cats was inspired by The Brady Bunch T.V. show as the characters would be displayed in a grid. I had a scrap of fabric that I had pre-quilted to create a sewing machine cover the used foam in the inside in place of batting. When I found the scrap bag with this center image I recalled the T.V. show and had to create the wall quilt. The foam inside of the cat fabric allows for the cats to pop in the center. The other scraps of fabric came from a jacket and shirt that I had sewed in the past. I used a domestic sewing machine to piece cotton fabric in a log cabin block to create the frame around the cats. The piece was quilted and binding attached using variegated thread.
