La búsqueda de un guía, una señal o un augurio que nos ayude a transitar por la vida es un concepto que está muy presente en el inconsciente colectivo de muchas culturas. En la cultura mexicana, el Nahual, es ese guía que vive en nuestro interior y que tiene la habilidad de transformarse en algún animal que podamos reconocer y seguir para llegar así a encontrar nuestro destino.
Sólo los verdaderos chamanes son capaces de realizar esta transmutación en este plano, sin embargo todos tenemos la capacidad de acudir a ellos en el reino de los sueños y caminar entre nuestros ancestros, pedir su consejo y viajar a lugares remotos que guardan los secretos de la vida, la muerte y el renacimiento.

The search for a guide, a signal or an omen that will help us go through life, is a concept very much present in the unconscious collective of many cultures. In the Mexican culture, the Nahual (guardian spirit), is considered the guide which lives within us. It has the ability to shape shift into an animal we recognize and can follow so we may reach our destiny.
Only real shamans are able to achieve transmutation on this plane, yet we all have the capacity to reach them in the kingdom of our dreams. There, we can walk among our ancestors, ask them for advice, and travel to far off places that hold the secrets of life, death and rebirth.
