Nine Whiskers was created using scraps of fabric that were left over from other textile art projects that would have gone to the trash. I prefer to keep scraps of fabric in the studio since they can be used in other smaller projects. The purple splatter fabric was previously a shirt and the other scraps came from a quilt. The embroidery hoop that was saved from going to the trash when a friend was spring cleaning her home.
