This piece is dedicated to my sister's cat, Kevin Bacon Jr. Kevin has a special talent for knowing the exact moment to interrupt and sit on whatever you are working on. I recently had the pleasure of watching him, and every time I would sit down to paint, he would leap up onto the table and sit directly on top of my paint palette. What a rascal!
Sarah will be donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of this painting (and all work she sells in January) to the Pasadena Humane Society to aid in their work rescuing and saving animals caught in the Eaton fire in California.
