On our recent visit, Lacey told that this painting was inspired by a group of silly birds that come to her yard -demanding to be fed peanuts. This particular guy always tries to take two peanuts at a time and so he picks and chooses the ones that fit together perfectly in his beak so he can fly away with both! What a character!
