THOMAS by artist Valerie Savarie

Based on the story "The Immortal Cat" by Karel Čapek, as included in the book All Cats Go To Heaven (main altered book), is the story of the author and his cat whose life ends early. One of her offspring Pudlenka, finds her way back to Karel and has kittens of her own. As Pudlenka's legacy grows, so does her story.

The lady Pudlenka was street smart lady with class, a world traveler and a free spirit that no man could tame. Her entourage of Toms was a diverse group: young Tommy, a card shark from America; Thomas, a Frenchman whose love of caviar was second to his passion for older women; Tom, a married middle aged businessman that fantasized about running away with Pudlenka and lastly, Thomas III, the millionaire of the Riviera who lost it all in a bet. He would make an honest woman of Pudlenka.
