I wanted to do a Panda, as I think it really fits with the theme as we are slowing eating away at more and more of their habitat with our urban sprawl. And I wanted to show, that even with all our constant building and expanding, that there is a real impermanence to everything we do. Our buildings are constantly being torn down and rebuilt. That is why I decided to do the buildings in the background color and not flesh them out, to lend to that feeling of impermanence.
