I've been thinking about Wise Women lately. Throughout all of our past there are those who learn the plants for healing and who act as Intermediary with their people and the forces of the unseen world. Shaman is a good word for this. It does not imply gender.
When we have done this right, these individuals have been revered. When we have become confused, we have done awful, cruel, inhumane things.
