Upcycled clothing, book scraps and acryla gouache, 15" tall
Looking at this wise old owl, I couldn’t help but to think of Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens). His feathers look sort of like a mustache and his book page hat is reminiscent of the Panama hat which which was popular during his life. I have no explanation as to why he has no pants other than I didn’t think he needed them.
