I am told I once painted my brother green and told him to lie in wait for my mother to wake so he could frighten her. So my interest in painting and theatrics started early.

I enjoy painting children as a metaphor for adult behavior and this story had some nice layers to it. All it takes is a little skin change to make someone appear more threatening than they are, and sometimes imaginary armor makes you feel bigger.
