Dear Arcadia,
As much as you love giant spiders, there was an enormous one living in my tree. It kept building strong webs every day to catch the cicadas. Each morning I’d find a few suspended in every direction, struggling to flutter away. I tried to save them by carefully pulling them out. A few of them tried to fly away, but ended up getting caught by my cats and then eaten whole. Circle of life, I guess. But don’t you worry, the spiders also had an endless of supply of vivacious mosquitoes.
