$ 500.00

Acrylic on wood panel, 10" round (with a keyhole for hanging in back)

Artist statement: Burrowing owls do this really cute thing of tilting their heads, and that head tilt has a reason - owls do this to avoid predators and find their prey. Because we've taken over so much of their habitat for urban development, the western burrowing owl's breeding populations have been reduced by more than 60% in the past several decades.

I will donate 20% of my portion of the proceeds from the sale of this painting to the Center for Biological Diversity to support their work saving wildlife from extinction.
