La Garza made by hand in various natural fabrics (cotton, linen, batiste, silk) and semi-synthetic, anti-allergenic, semi-structured wire padding. The feathers made of hand-dyed natural fabrics (Chinese ink). Roses were made of hand-dyed Indian sari silk. Frida Kahlo eyes glued onto a glass cabochon.
The wooden display box was embellished with collage, paint and varnish, 11 x 14".
This piece is can be displayed in the box or outside of the box on the wall.
