This mask depicts 'the medial woman': someone attuned to the vast realm of the unconscious that allows her access to flashes of intuitive knowledge. In most spiritual traditions, a warning accompanies this gift: it must not be used in an opportunistic or self-seeking way, but humbly, watching out for the possible meddling of the power drive. 

The symbol under the left eye is 'life'; under the right eye, 'dark'. The chin symbol is meant to be 'light'.
