The Treachery of Sirens and the Sea, 2026

We are kicking off 2026 with a fun show that invites us to explore the enchanting, mythical beings that have lured us since ancient times, mermaids.
Featured artist Diana Hartman is putting her signature twist on the water nymph by checking out the reverse mermaid.
Sirens have long been mythological symbols of both danger and rescue. Often portrayed as dangerous, but also seductive and alluring. While most of us know the common human top half and fish bottom half variety, little is known about their even more mythical inverse. These real sirens live their own special lives where they reject norms, categories and assumptions.
