About this piece:
This piece portrays 'my' semi-feral darling, Muru the Cat, and the resident mockingbird dedicated to giving her trouble - a complicated relationship, for sure!
Muru's story is too long to tell here, but briefly: she was an elusive figure in my neighborhood (with several litters she cleverly hid, until she was ready to leave them in someone's yard).
Eventually she was trapped, neutered, vaccinated, and returned to the neighborhood, where she now enjoys a good life and good food, and brings happiness (and a 'lesson' or two) to my life, and that of many others.
