"Dear Olga,
I’m tired of the old folks visually weighing us every time we get to the village. We either got fat (and still need to eat more of their food), or too skinny (and need to stuff ourselves even more).
“Oh, you gave up on running, huh?” Ugh!!!
So me and Kosta, at the kafeneio (coffee house), laugh about it every year. As soon as we reunite, he asks me “Did I get fat?” “Ha ha!! Yes!! So fat!” Either way “fage, fage, fage, pácheenes” (eat, eat, eat, you got fat).
