These fun pieces are a nod to “Napoleon Dynamite,” a 2004 cult classic comedy film. The main character is a nerdy high schooler named Napoleon who befriends Pedro, a new student who immigrated from Mexico, and helps him with his class presidential campaign. It was filmed in Idaho in 23 days with a wee budget and grossed $46 million.
