About the piece: I created my CUP OF FRIENDSHIP to honor the rituals of bonding that are used all over the world to celebrate the emotional power of friendship.
Often these rituals involve sharing a cup of drink, or some food, with accompanying symbolic gestures. Breaking bread together indicates a sense of community and trust; linking arms while taking a drink creates a deep feeling of camaraderie and joint purpose.
