This painting was inspired by a man named Ric and the wild horse he rode when he was a little boy. Story goes that somebody caught a wild horse, tried to tame it, but didn't exactly finish the job, so the horse was really hard to ride, but Ric loved that horse and the horse would let Ric ride him. They spent a lot of time together and formed a special bond.
