A BOX THAT IS A JEWEL by artist Elisabetta Visentini

A simple egg carton has become a magical jewelry case, but not just for jewels. In addition to being able to place bracelets, necklaces and earrings in it, Elisabetta imagined that this new life would also allow us to store secrets!

The artist imagined 3 magical eggs lived inside - the keepers of the secrets.
One is The Guardian of Precious Things, the second The Guardian of Moral Values and the third, The Guardian of Feelings.

In Italian, a jewelry holder is called a 'Portagioie' - in this case, one that leads us to discover ourselves in an introspective and imaginative way. A magical place to keep a part of us.

Materials: Egg carton, paper, recycled materials from discarded accessories, and polymer clay. Painted with oils.
