Mixed media One of a Kind art doll: air dry clay, sari silk ribbon, Japanese fabric, Japanese silk fabric, hand dyed cotton fabric, imitation gold leaf, wire.
The body (NOT POSABLE) is made of white, needle-felted Corriedale Top, over a wire armature (to give her the right shape), wrapped in sari silk ribbons.
Head, hands and feet are sculpted in air dry clay, painted with chalks and watercolours and sealed with as matt varnish.
The arteries of her heart shaped head have a small opening at the top, they are like little vases and you can insert real DRY flowers of your choice in. They must be VERY THIN, NOT HUMID (or the clay could get damaged) and NEVER FORCED IN.
The Doll will arrive with a collection of delicate dry flowers ready for you to arrange as you see fit.
She has a metal ring on her back, to be displayed against a wall.
Completely hand sewn.
