Mixed media OOAK finger puppet: aid dry clay, silk fabric, cotton fabric, calico, metal bell, wire.
I thought of making this finger puppet like a small sculpture that you can also enjoy standing up on it own… while you are not having fun!
The body is made of air dry clay and white, needle-felted Corriedale Top, over a wire armature wrapped in silk fabric and decorate a metal bell. The mushroom cup is made of cotton fabric and calico, finished with French knots.
Head and hands are sculpted in air dry clay, painted with acrylics, chalks and gold leaves and sealed with matt varnish.
12 cm / 4.7" tall
