SUBLIME LIGEREZA (Sublime Lightness) by artist Lorena Monteiro

Structured in flexible wire under natural and synthetic fibers, layers of cotton knit and jacquard knit, covered in linen, sari silk, indigo natural dye silk, mother-of-pearl buttons and buttons, shell. Wing is made of linen and cambric fabric and painted in watercolor. Wings and legs are posable. Made to be hung on the wall.

It has a small snap that joins the fish doll with the heron.

Heron is completely hand-stitched except the wing (padded quilting). The Heron is made by sewing machine and covered with small patches sewn and/or embroidered by hand. Eyes are attached to the glass cabochon.
