17 EL BANDOLÓN (The Mandolin) by artist Mark Cantrell of WoodcreaturesNM

El Bandolón is carved from wild collected Alligator Juniper with Mahogany tuning pegs. The mahogany is scrap wood left over from a local guitar builder.
It is finished with a tung oil blend, followed with 3 layers of polyurethane.
Dimensions = 22" x 9.5" x 2", ready to hang.

Mark lives and creates in Silver City, New Mexico. He carves and makes creatures that come from the scattered myths, ancient stories, and dark corners of our collective minds.
