VEINTALMA by artist Ioanna Tsouka of Anima ex Manus Art Dolls

This piece was created to honor Cactus Gallery’s 20-year journey! Her name blends "veinte" (twenty) and "alma" (soul), celebrating the many beautiful humans who have passed through this unique, vibrant space over the years - artists, collectors, visitors, friends, family, and, of course, Sandra, the very heart of the gallery. ❤️ The tiny dragonfly on Veintalma’s chest symbolizes motion, change, and life’s ever-shifting nature. Veintalma is both a witness to the past and a guardian of the creative energy that carries us forward.

Mixed media: paperclay, polymer clay, wire, silk threads, silk carrier rods, cotton, trims, felt, beads. Her arms and legs are lightly poseable/ bendable. She is hand-painted with soft pastels, acrylics and colored pencils, and sealed with matte and gloss varnish. She can be displayed on the wall, as she has a hoop on her back; she can also be displayed on a doll stand (not included) or seated on any surface with some back support. Her costume is not removable.
