MRS. ARAGON FOUND AN ACORN by artist Bob Doucette

Throughout his life, Bob Doucette has directed many popular animated children’s programs. His independently animated films won him prestigious awards and honors and his MFA thesis film Pink Triangle is in the permanent collection at the New York Public Library.

Bob has worn many titles as an artist from set designer to animator and has a wide variety of interest. What started as a career in puppetry segued into a dollmaking.

Bob is very grateful for the opportunity to currently be working with Disney Fine Arts.

Doucette was born in Waterville, Maine, educated at Rhode Island School of Design and has a master’s degree in animation from Cal ARTS. He lives in Peoria, Illinois with his husband Tom. 

He has been working with Cactus Gallery for ten years.
