Wet and needle felted, 8" x 10", in a wood frame to 10" x 12"

This piece is a tribute to murals in California. Riitta's inspiration for this piece is the  mural in the last two photos. The mural was created by the German duo HERAKUT in 2018. On the left side of the mural, "There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children." - Nelson Mandela, May 8, 1995.
