Anna Freud is the only sister of Sigmund Freud had who did NOT die in an extermination camp during the holocaust. Freud did not take his sisters when he left the country, and only Anna escaped. She went to the US (a place Freud detested) where her son Edward Bernays eventually became the "Father of Public Relations". Edward Bernays changed America forever by getting women to smoke cigarettes in public and physicians to endorse bacon and eggs for breakfast. Isn't life weird?
