Description: This piece is dedicated to the sweet memories I had growing up on a street filled with the gorgeous red silk cotton trees.
Since they can easily grow as tall as 100 feet or more, when the flowers fall, most of them smash open into a Pollock painting on the ground. However, every now and then, a few tough cookies would somehow hit the ground almost completely unharmed. Those are the lucky ones that would grab my grandma’s attention, and I was the lucky one to get to adore them at home, up close, for a few more days.
