Sarah has making art since she was kid. She attended college on an art scholarship and graduated with a BA in both Chemistry and Art. After then receiving a PhD in Chemistry, she had a 25 year career in engineering from which she retired in fall of 2025.

She neglected making art for years. But in 2016 when she started doing a lot more business travel, she began drawing and painting again on flights, when waiting for flights, and at the hotel in the evenings. Then she started painting again at home. Now that she is retired, art is her primary pursuit.
