This piece is an homage to 'botas tribaleras'. Mexican tribal boots are a type of wo/men's footwear characterized by their pointed toes. They became a fashion trend in parts of Northern Mexico. These boots have gained significant popularity due to the tribal guarachero music genre, where they are part of the traditional attire and dance.
