Artist Statement:
I'm a Native Californian, and am a legit Valley Girl.
Growing up in the 60’s & 70’s in the San Fernando Valley was magical at the time.
Unheard of now, but walking up Ventura Blvd and down Laurel Canyon to Elementary school was what we did as kids.
Later on, Battle of the Bands, Van Nuys Blvd Cruiser night, Parties in the Hollywood Hills, getting into mischief up on Mulholland, Topanga Canyon, and many many more memories.
After moving to the Pacific NW 7 years ago, I’m still in heaven.
And while I don’t miss CA, I might have left a teeny tiny piece of my heart there.
