This piece was inspired when Pinocchio's best friend, Candlewick (Lampwick) convinces Pinocchio to forgo a party in his honor and go to The Land of Toys.
It serves as a haven for wayward boys and girls, allowing them to act as they please without recrimination. However, the truer and more sinister purpose of The Land of Toys is eventually revealed as it begins to physically transform the boys and girls into donkeys and to sell them off for labor.
After 5 months, Pinocchio and Lampwick wake up one morning to find they have donkey ears. They now have "jackass fever!"
