About the piece: "Witches, In Rain We Cry" was inspired by the idea that nothing in the world ever really dies, and I was thinking about the thousands of innocent women (and men) who were murdered during the Witch hunts.
The idea behind this piece is that their souls return to us in the shape of rain, endless drops of rain, representing their tears, to remind us of the pain inflicted on them. But at the same time their tears are feeding and nurturing the plants and flowers that grow on the land that they once walked upon.
