MY BODY IS NOT YOUR CORPORATE OR SEXUAL TOOL by artist Kelly Thompson
Watercolor and graphite on paper, mounted on wood, framed to 6 1/2” x 12”
To me breastfeeding a child is one of the most sacred beautiful expressions of love and life a women can give her child. Not only are mothers being targeted by corporate and political greed, they are being targeted by men who insist our breast are solely there for their pleasure.
Joining forces with Nestlé, Abbott, Mead Johnson and Wyeth (now owned by Nestlé) our current administration and corporate funded elected government officials have stunned the world with their new corporate campaign. Inventing a narrative of what I see as a criminally misleading people into believing that formula is better for their babies than a mothers milk. Going so far as to target the poorest women in the hospitals with their corporate propaganda. I hope Women of the world will unite against this and all corporate misogynist take overs of our bodies and lives. This painting represents to me, the life, love and survival of humanity. More importantly my tit is not designed for your pleasure and keep your hands off unless invited. #overturncitizensunited
