While other kids were running about in the fresh air, Annette was avidly reading fantasies and fairy tales, which she would then illustrate. \u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eShe continued drawing all through her youth and learned to paint in college.
